| The Rust & Chrome will be held on Sunday 26 March 2017 at Norwell Motorplex, 75 Norwell Rd. Norwell, Gold Coast QLD.
As Car People ourselves, we have noticed a large amount of unhappiness with car shows of late with only a static show & shine element, & people are becoming bored quickly & even the public are becoming bored. This is why we are incorporating, driving events such as old style cruising, & 1950's style friendly drag racing for both cars & motorcycles into our show. This is so the driver of a classic car can have a bit of fun in driving their car & the public can also enjoy the sounds & movement of watching these classic machines doing what they were built to do, be driven!
Show N Shine, Cars & Motorcycles, Large Track Cruising Sessions, 1950's Style Drag Racing, Pin Up Girl Comp, Trade & Market Stands, Food Vans, Licenced Bar
Rust & Chrome is open for all pre-1978 Chrome Bumper Cars, Custom & Classic Cars & selected Special Interest
Motorcycles are limited to Classic/retro styled bikes [i.e not modern plastic racers, the show is Rust & Crome, not plastic & paint]
No Race Cars or Bikes will be permitted to participate in the Driving Events & all vehicles entering the Driving Events must be road registered & have a muffled exhaust system
All Vehicles entering the Driving Events will be required to fill in an Indemnity Waiver
