The Western Australia Rover Owners Club held a run in conjunction with the Riley Motor Club of Western Australia to the West Coast Motor Museum in Mandurah, on Sunday, 29 June 2014. About 20 cars made the journey down from Perth for a BBQ lunch on not your usual BBQ. The West Coast Motor Museum is a private collection of over 50 vehicles from 1915 onwards. The owners, Ron West and Ron Meredith were involved with the Forrestfield Speedway in the 1950s and their long association lives on with a display of historic speedway cars. Of particular interest to me was a wall dedicated to early speedway photographs. The museum is open by appointment only. The website address is:- www.westcoastmotormuseum.com.au
