The Grenfell Car Show has become an annual Sunday feature drawcard event of the Henry Lawson Festival that sees car enthusiast travel for miles to enjoy mixing and mingling amongst the variety of motor vehicles on display.
This year the event was held in Short Street situated just behind the main street with over 80 vehicles lined-up along the tree-lined street which provided shelter in the cold conditions.
The Grenfell Car Club runs this successful event each year and offers good prize money to the first and second trophy winners. Categories included: Veteran/Vintage (Pre 1930), Modern Classic (Pre 1993+), Hot rod, Town Ute, Modified, Country of Origin Classic (1931-1992), Australian, British, American, Japanese, European. Plus trophies for: Best Represented Club, People's Choice, President's Award, Fully Road Registered Vehicle, Most Original.
