May in the Wide Bay goes into its 8th year in Sunny Hervey Bay, just 3 hours north of Brisbane

This is a “Long weekend Run “, commencing on Friday 1 May thru to Monday 4 May 2015

This year's benefactor is eight year old Sharkier Lowrie who suffers from Spastic Diplegia Cerebral Palsy.  "Sharky "as she is know to her friends cannot walk without the aid of her K frame .  Her wish is to be able to walk unaided.  She has been accepted into the Thera-suit Therapy programme but needs $9500 to be able to participate and Wide Bay Rodders is determined to get her as close to that figure as possible over the course of the weekend - The Thera-suit programme has the ability to grant Sharky her wish
